LICENCE CONTRACT OF VROOM-OM see : CONTRAT DE LICENCE DE VROOM-OM (in French) Please read carefully this document before using the VROOM package. The content of the VROOM package is described in the 'readme' file. Use of all or part of the software included in this package implies acceptation of the present contract. If you do not accept this contract, please do not use the package and destroy your copies of the package. Included software is a co-ownership of SEMA GROUP company, of Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (France), and of University Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC). This software is a beta-test version. Their used is granted for free to some users according to the terms of the present licence, for a limited duration which is indicated in the software. The licence may be renewed or not after this period, according to conditions which will be defined later by CNRS. The CNRS keeps the co-ownership of all copies of the software obtained from the present package. The official version of the licence contract is the French version. Please refer to this version if needed. The following 'licence summary' is only provided to give you a summary of the licence document. LICENCE SUMMARY 1. Licence. The present software is deliverered for free to research teams, academic or not, for evaluation purposes. Its duration is limited to six months. The software is protected by the laws about copyright. Any copy must include the copyright banner which mentions the copyright from SEMA GROUP, CNRS and UPMC, and other general informations. The user must not deliver a copy of the software to a third party which does not fulfill the licence conditions. 2. Restrictions. The software includes fabrication secrets. It is FORBIDDEN to decompile it, desassemble it, or reduce it in any way to a form readable by man. It is forbidden to modify it. 3. Absence of guarantees. The software and its documentation are delivered for evaluation purpose, and without any guarantee of any kind, even implicit ones. They are not guaranteed to be usable in any way. The software is not guaranteed to save data or to keep them consistent, or to be maintained. Software is not guaranteed to be consistent with documentation. Notification of bugs to MASI laboratory does not imply for this laboratory any obligation to broadcast those notifications or to fix the bugs. The user must characterize by himself he software functionalities, and save data by all available means. The existence of persistence functionalities does not exempt the users from saving disks or files outside the database, as often as they consider it useful. Attention of users is drawed on the fact that any application software developed with the present software must be used with it. SEMA GROUP, CNRS, UPMC, or any of their managers, members or collaborators are not responsible for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of this software or this documentation, or of the inability to use them, even if MASI laboratory, CNRS, SEMA GROUP or UPMC would be informed of the risk of such harm. 4.
